Description :

Fastbrick Robotics in Perth, Australia, has built a robot they claim can build a house in two days. The robot is named Hadrian and it can lay up to 1,000 bricks per hour for a period of as long as 24-hours straight. It has taken the company ten years and seven million dollars to get to their current stage in production of the robot.

The system uses 3D computer aided design (CAD) to layout the house so that it can calculate the number and sizes of bricks needed and how to lay them out. The robot has built-in quality control that is able to measure and check the construction for accuracy. It can also cut out spaces in the brick for building infrastructure such as wiring and plumbing.

Below is a concept video of how the robot works.
