- 2.8 Billion people, or 39% of the world's population, is now on the Internet

- The internet user growth has been 8% while smarphones have grown 23%, both rates of growth are slowing
- The average American adult spends 5.6 hours a day on the Internet
- Mobile gets way less as spend than it should compared to its usage
- Video viewing is growing fast
- Enterprise software is expanding its capabilities not just adding efficiency
- Messaging apps are the key mobile app
- Network effects make established messaging apps hard to beat for new entrants
- Asia leads the trends in messaging apps
- User generated content creation is exploding
- Teenagers have been shifting from text to visual social media
- The Internet allows people to get almost anything in under an hour in many metropolitan areas
- Consumer drones are selling well
- Millenials make up 44% of on-demand workers
